Lifes a Terrigal Beach

Just a 1 hour drive north of Sydney, straight up the M1 you will find yourself entering the Central Coast, and a little drive further- Terrigal. It's the perfect location for family picnics, surfing, beach days, food and fun.

The Hot spots... a locals perspective

One of my favourite things about the Coast is the beaches. Everywhere. There's something really calming about being near the Ocean. Every beach is stunning and has their own highlights. It's important to remember that the ocean is unpredictable and having the ability to swim is essential. Always swim between the flags. Always supervise your kids. Most major beaches on the Coast are patrolled, however there are a few secluded ones that are not.

Terrigal Beach: A super family friendly beach. It is patrolled by life guards during the Summer, and also has a rockpool for the kiddies (currently funding has been approved to upgrade and maintain it).
Parking is easy with the free Multi Story car park located on Wilsons Road. Food isn't an issue, with multiple food venues available. You want fish and chips? There is literally 3 different places to choose from? Pizza? Choose from Pizza Inn, Hungry Wolfs or Crust Pizza. Thai food? Cafes? Restaurants? Ice cream parlours? There is something for everyone.

The Beer Garden located under Crown Plaza has amazing ocean views, an exceptional menu, and is family friendly during the day. Keep in mind it becomes a local night life hot spot on weekends, so underage people will not be permitted in as it gets late.
